York's MOST comprehensive gig guide
The MOR Music and York 800 teams pulled together a great event that raised funds for Help For Heroes!!

Saturday saw the centre of York taken over by a sea of happy smiling faces as big crowds gathered to appreciate just some of the wealth of musical talent our city has to offer. Nineteen sets from musicians young and old(er) had music lovers, shoppers, aunts, uncles and grans singing and dancing on Parliament Street from 10:30am to 11:30pm.
A sun kissed day with great sets from bands such as According To Eve, The FALLEN and Hungry Ghosts led to a warm and equally impressive night topped off by a great set by The Littlemores, with a mellow evening section with David Ward Mclean, Jonny Gill and Nathan Luke helping pace the day.
The MOR Music and York 800 teams pulled together a great event that raised funds for Help For Heroes and everyone I spoke to would want to see happen again, soon!
